Job Description:
An exciting, practical opportunity for a Geologist, Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer.
A wide ranging role contributing to all aspects of Terra Firma’s Ground Engineering including:
- Site, project and staff management
- Site visits, desk studies and site work
- Sample logging, lab scheduling and report writing
- Client liaison, estimating, pricing and commercial management
- Preparation of scheme design for geotechnical structures
This is a full time office and site based professional role. It offers challenge, variety and responsibility limited only by your ability and ambitions.
The role is fully supported by our senior staff and every encouragement is made for you to grow your career through our mapped career development route which is aligned with the Geological Society Chartered Geologist Scheme.
Placement Students
Job Description:
An exciting, practical opportunity for a placement Geologist, Engineering Geologist or Civil Engineer.
A hands on role which will give opportunity and exposure to a career with a specialist Ground Engineering contractor. An immersive experience you will become involved in all that Terra Firma do which will include
- Ground investigation – site visits, desk studies and report preparation
- Drill support role – site based and hands on
- Design support role – office based design exposure
- Business support – All that a small business needs!
- Client contact, meetings and report production
This is a full time placement year role, office and site based. It offers challenge, variety and responsibility limited only by your ability and ambitions.
